Gonna go ahead and tentatively say we'll be heading into the LoC but of course, if it's damp here it'll be a quagmire there so don't count on it, specifically.
Once again, a reminder to our newer climbers that if we DO go to the LoC, bring bug spray and boots or waterproof footwear of any sort. You'll need it.
Meeting area. You get there by approaching the rotary from either Joseph Howe Drive or St. Margaret's Bay Road. It is THIS parking lot, indicated in THIS photo:

All directions are from Halifax Bouldering, by Ghislain Losier (Zig)
LoC
The fastest way to reach LoC from Halifax is to take route 333. It will take you roughly a 1/2 hour. If you're coming from highway 102, follow signs for Peggy's Cove. In West Dover the road will take a very sharp right turn, there will then be two small two-car pull-outs on your left immediately after the baseball field.
Scoop
From the parking, head up to the square boulder on top of the highest ridge (Jizz). Follow down the ridge passing an old hunting blind. From the blind descend the gully (little trail) and cross a wet section. Don't get discouraged, Scoop is worth it. Once through the wet section continue in the same direction. Scoop is obvious. A far easier way to get to Scoop is from Area 51. It looks like you could walk there easily but be aware a journey through the swamps of Hell awaits those who try!
Mega
It is possible to approach Mega either from Dog House or the Scoop. From the Scoop walk towards the ridge to the left of the swamp and gully that separates Scoop from Area 51. There is a trail and cairns leading up the ridge. Once on top of the ridge follow it along the path of least resistance past a wall on the right (Grand Finale Area) until you come to Mega.
Last but not least, some directions via Google Maps to the LoC Parking:

Hope it works out this time!
P.S. Thanks to Todd for showing up and actually trying last week. I heard you guys got rained on but it was a good move for the community and I appreciated you covering the Monday sesh.
