CHATTY CRACKS

Postby theriault » Mon May 28, 2012 8:21 am

Stumbled on This with Luc on Sunday when we where looking for The Crush, like the description sais, one of the best crack sequence in the area! 3 star route, but I will add my 2 cents on the grade, as I don't think this route got climbed a lot yet. I would say 5.10+ left crack, 5.8/5.9 right exit.... the jams are perfect with amazing granite through the crux sequence! Good job Boy's, this thing is really hidden back there!

I climbed the route spread eagle style between the two cracks. Felt like welsford 5.9 to me. The finish could be climbed a number of different ways so im not surprised there is some discrepency on the grade.
Great route though and super good gear for the crux so if you are a 5.9 leader dont be shy.

Did you climb the route right of the crush that exits through the hole?
