Found an engineering ring by Weeping Whisker

Postby Rosie » Mon Apr 20, 2009 7:36 am

Yesterday I was up by Weeping Whisker and found an engineering ring on the ground. It's got some wear, and is fairly small (it's just a little too big for my pinky finger). If this is yours and you want it back, email me at buerklev@aecl.ca.

is this a Cinderella thing, where if it fits you, you automatically become an engineer?

Damn Rosie, do you realize how much money it takes to get one of those things? Keep it! Just wear it, get a pocket pencil protector, hang a calculator off your belt, and apply for some jobs. You'll be accepted without question!

Yep... I think she's probably got a pretty good idea about that.

Hey Joe, do you think I'll get offered twice as much money if I wear one on each hand?

Mind you, the one on my left hand would be slightly too big... ;)

D'oh!

I, uh, probably shouldn't ask you for a belay for a while, eh Rosie? Sorry about that! I get along just fine with engineers, sometimes, hopefully, on occasion ... help me out here Steve!

hehe no worries. I wouldn't drop you. You might land on me and damage my pocket protector, or worse... my pencils!

I'll be happy to help you Joe. In fact I just designed (engineered) a new belay technique that should be perfect for you....
You are, therefore I am. That is the question....

I'm quite sure that Joe already tried that technique Steve.. .it didn't work out so well for him....
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?
